Monday 12th October – bike *** – Around Felixstowe - Mainly cloudy.

Not such a nice day today, mainly cloudy but still managed my exercises in the garden before packing a picnic and setting off on our bikes just before one. A couple of things to do in the town before heading for lovely Abbey and Grove woods, then its Candlet Lane to Trimley. Ove the huge green footbridge over the railway line, bumping into old friends we haven’t seen for ages and stopped for a catch-up chat:) We stop at the seat with views down to the River Orwell at Levington at the end of Loompit Lake Lane. We enjoy our picnic in the peace and quiet with a buzzard having a hard time with a large flock of crows! We then take the tree lined path back to Felixstowe which is covered in fallen leaves. We stop and feed the large shoal of rudd in the small pond. I then detour to the view point while Mag heads for home. I whizz back through Languard and the very quiet prom, then home for a cuppa and cake. We then took the cats to the vets for a jab, they were not impressed!
